CINCINNATI — Herbal Essences is launching the new Papaya + Citrus Strength Collection in collaboration with Love Island’s Amaya, available at national retailers on June 26, 2026. The collection — a strengthening shampoo and conditioner built around a bright papaya-and-citrus scent — marks an extension of the brand's existing partnership with Amaya.

Meet the Inspiration
Some collaborations start with a mood board. This one started with the fans.
When Amaya joined forces with Herbal Essences for the "Scent Traps" campaign, the response was immediate. Comments flooded in asking for more: a papaya line, more Amaya, more of that bright, tropical energy she brought to everything she touched. The brand heard it loud and clear. This partnership deserved its own collection.
Amaya’s lively personality, her Dominican roots, and the “Amaya Papaya” nickname that followed her everywhere on Love Island made the direction obvious.
