BINGHAMTON, N.Y. — iA and Parkland Health recently partnered to complete the installation of a new centralized pharmacy fulfillment platform. The iA solution will allow Parkland Health to manage the inventory and fulfillment process from prescription acceptance to delivery.

Parkland Health has been the foundation for a healthy Dallas. Serving the community since 1894, they are committed to providing high quality care for their patients by adding more services to the neighborhoods that need them most. Parkland has eight pharmacies located in its Community Oriented Primary Care health centers located throughout Dallas County, as well as a mail-order option for patients. With more than 30 years of experience, iA provides an integrated platform of capabilities to support Centralized, Community and Shared Central Pharmacy Fulfillment solutions for retail, health system and government pharmacies.

iA's NEXiA Enterprise Software Suite integrates seamlessly with its advanced robotics and third-party systems to automate and streamline the prescription filling process. This central fulfillment automation can help to remove the tedious and manual processes from the pharmacists’ responsibilities in stores, allowing them more time to focus on patient-facing care.

“Our team understands the unique challenges that pharmacies in healthcare face,” said Tom Utech, iA CEO. “We are dedicated to developing solutions that solve those problems, ease the pharmacist’s workload, and elevate the quality of patient care.”

iA solutions are designed to grow with customers, allowing pharmacies to adjust their operations as their business grows or demand fluctuates, helping them to meet patient needs promptly and reliably. The multi-million-dollar project includes a 5K Central Fill replacement including iA SmartPods, SmartCollator, SmartShelf, Semi-Auto Bagger, MDS, conveyance, and NEXiA Fulfillment subscription.

“We were pleased to partner with Parkland for this project,” Utech said. “This accomplishment reflects our strategic goals in action, demonstrating how we turn our customer’s values into tangible results.”
