IdeaVillage appoints COO

Ron Boger has been named chief operating officer at IdeaVillage Products Corp., the marketer of "As Seen on TV" products.

WAYNE, N.J. — Ron Boger has been named chief operating officer at IdeaVillage Products Corp., the marketer of "As Seen on TV" products.

The company said Friday that with the appointment, Boger adds the COO title to his current responsibilities as executive vice president, working alongside IdeaVillage founder Anand "Andy" Khubani in launching new, innovative products in the mass market.

"Ron Boger has played a pivotal role in developing IdeaVillage as a company, in product acquisition, merchandising and planning, and the nurturing of top-to-top relationships with retailers across the country," commented Khubani. "His knowledge and proven background in direct response and retail is an asset to the company and its business partners."

IdeaVillage said Boger is credited with bringing products such as SlimShots, Yoshi Ceramic Knife, Fushigi Ball and Criss Angel MINDFREAK Magic Kits and Tricks and more under the IdeaVillage banner and into the mass market, as well as with working with major retailers in inventory planning, promotional planning and in-store merchandising.

Before joining IdeaVillage, Boger served as president and chief executive of Major Connections Inc.; senior vice president of sales at Telebrands; and vice president of health and beauty, pharmacy and general merchandise at Eagle Foods.
