BOSTON — Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski of MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” will keynote the 2016 National Association of Chain Drug Stores Total Store Expo.
“Joe Scarborough, Mike Brzezinski and ‘Morning Joe’ have built a reputation as the go-to source for political analysis every Monday through Friday,” said NACDS president and chief executive officer Steve Anderson. “NACDS Total Store Expo attendees are going to really enjoy getting an exclusive ‘weekend edition’ in Boston this year. “It’s going to be fascinating to hear what they have to say from the stage about the way this presidential election is shaping up, and about all of the related political dynamics across the nation.”
For the past decade, Scarborough and Brzezinski have brought their hard-hitting and often irreverent style to the airwaves — to the satisfaction of the legislators, journalists, political consultants, staff members and recreational political observers who comprise their loyal audience. They are known for bringing this same authentically entertaining approach to the speaking stage.
They will speak during the business program on Sunday, August 7, which begins at 8 a.m. at the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center.
Inside the exhibit hall, expo attendees will have a chance to look into the future at Vision 2027, an area where companies will share ideas about what lies ahead for retailing and business partnerships, with a focus on emerging technology and interactivity.
Among the companies offering insights are Fung Global Retail & Technology, GSK Consumer Healthcare, Kantar Retail, Nielsen, Shark Branding, Everfave, Inturn, Eventable, Catalyst and Shopic.
“Vision 2027 contributes powerfully to one of the most frequently asked questions, ‘What will be new this year at the NACDS Total Store Expo?’” said Anderson. “The answer is always apparent in the new ideas, the new products and services, and the new content presented at the NACDS Total Store Expo.
“We are excited about what the Vision 2027 participants will bring to this equation, and about the contributions of all the exhibitors and retailers.”
