EAST ANGUS, Québec — Super C and Jean Coutu officially open their doors at 288 and 286 Angus South Street in East Angus. Representing a total investment of more than $20 million, the arrival of these two iconic Québec banners will create more than 150 jobs and provide local residents with greater access to food, health and beauty products, as well as frontline healthcare services.

The brand-new Jean Coutu location, owned by pharmacists Nicolas Provost and Lucas Zhang, spans 12,500 square feet and welcomes customers in a modern environment inspired by the banner's latest store concept.
This opening enhances access to healthcare services in the area. At the heart of the pharmacy is a laboratory featuring a new layout designed to optimize the patient journey, improve pharmacy workflow and create spaces better suited to clinical services. The design was created to evolve alongside community needs and support the pharmacy team as the pharmacist's role and professional services continue to expand. Three consultation rooms have also been added to provide a functional and welcoming space for patient interactions.
A wide range of services is available on site, including online appointment booking, free prescription delivery, the It's Ready notification service and vaccination services. Self-service lockers also make prescription pick-up more convenient and help reduce wait times.
In the retail area, customers can enjoy a seamless and welcoming shopping experience. The cosmetics department features a premium-inspired environment showcasing a wide selection of well-known brands, including Biotherm, Clarins and Karine Joncas. The store also offers an extensive seasonal section designed to meet customers' needs throughout the year. In addition, two self-checkout counters help streamline the checkout process and reduce wait times. Delivery and in-store pickup services are also available.
