Karl Rove to return as speaker for NACDS-PAC Breakfast at 2026 NACDS Annual Meeting

Renowned political strategist to share insights on the evolving U.S. political landscape.

ARLINGTON, Va. — The National Association of Chain Drug Stores (NACDS) announced today that political strategist Karl Rove will return as the featured speaker for the NACDS Political Action Committee (NACDS-PAC) Breakfast at the 2026 NACDS Annual Meeting, April 18–21 in Palm Beach, Fla.

Karl Rove

Rove is known for his deep understanding of U.S. politics and for his service as Senior Advisor and Deputy Chief of Staff to President George W. Bush. At the NACDS-PAC Breakfast, he will share insights on the current political landscape and its implications for pharmacy and healthcare policy.

“We’re pleased to welcome Karl Rove back to the Annual Meeting,” said NACDS President and CEO Steven C. Anderson. “Our members value his ability to clearly explain how political trends and policy developments can affect the pharmacy industry. His perspective helps us better understand the environment in Washington and prepare for what lies ahead.”

Rove’s work spans decades in political strategy, including leading more than 75 campaigns across 24 states and helping shape two successful presidential campaigns. He is also a frequent commentator on national politics, appearing regularly on the Fox News Channel, writing a weekly op-ed for The Wall Street Journal, and authoring several best-selling books on politics and history.

“As the 2026 election cycle gains momentum and healthcare policy continues to take center stage, Karl’s perspective will help our members better navigate the political dynamics shaping the future of pharmacy and patient care,” Anderson said.

The 2026 NACDS Annual Meeting — the premier gathering of chain pharmacy leaders and industry partners — provides a forum for strategic collaboration, networking, and business development.
