PITTSFORD, N.Y. — Karma Culture LLC has made its Karma Wellness Water available at drug store, supermarket and convenience store chains nationwide.

The nutrient-enhanced spring water, which comes in five varieties, is naturally sweetened with a blend of stevia and pure cane sugar and s free of preservatives, gluten, and lactose. Each 18-ounce bottle contains just 20 calories and provide 110% of the recommended daily allowances of vitamins A, B3, B6, B12, Niacin, D and E, the company said.

Karma’s proprietary KarmaCap Technology is designed to optimize the efficacy of the nutrients by keeping vitamins and other essential ingredients protected and separate from water until it’s time to drink. The opaque plastic cap features a UV blocker to limit the vitamins’ exposure to the elements, and there’s also an air-tight seal between the cap and base to ensure freshness and maximum vitamin potency.

To add the nutrients to the water, consumers just peel off the protective seal, push down the top of the cap to infuse the vitamins, shake and then drink.

"Many people are trying very hard to take responsibility and make the right choices when it comes to their health," stated CJ Rapp, chief executive officer and co-founder of Karma Culture. "Consumers need to know that after just 90 days on a shelf, premixed drinks may have only 30% to 50% of their vitamins remaining, and Karma’s goal is to bring back the freshness of vitamins and truly transform water into wellness."

Each variety of Karma has a mix of seven essential vitamins, superfruits, antioxidants, herbal extracts, amino acids, minerals, and electrolytes to deliver functional benefits to a consumer’s health and wellness. Karma Mind (orange mango) is for sharper thinking and mental alertness, while Karma Body (raspberry guava jackfruit) is targeted at fitness acceleration. There are also Karma Spirit (passionfruit green tea) for mood elevation, relaxation and stress recovery; Karma Balance (acai pomberry) to provide an immunity boost; and Karma Vitality (pineapple coconut) for healthy hydration, increased alertness and energy replenishment.

Karma Wellness Water carries a retail price of $2.39 to $2.89 and is available at such food and drug retailers as CVS/pharmacy, Kinney Drug, Wegmans Food Markets, Tops Friendly Markets, Price Chopper and Market Basket.
