The food company said that in the new role, Salmon will lead the Kellogg U.S. sales organization.

He reports to Michael Allen, president of U.S. morning foods, and Brian Huff, president of U.S. snacks, the leaders of Kellogg North America’s largest business units.

Salmon’s experience as a sales leader spans nearly 22 years at Kellogg, including roles of increasing responsibility across the KUSA Sales organization, the company said.

Salmon takes over the post of Darcey Macken, the previous KUSA Sales lead.

Kellogg said Macken was appointed to lead a new Global Sales Center of Excellence (COE). According to the company, the COE represents a significant investment in long-term sales capability building.
