DALLAS — Kimberly-Clark Corp. has launched the new U by Kotex Sleek Tampons and U by Kotex CleanWear Pads in retail outlets nationwide.
The company said Monday that these latest additions to the U by Kotex feminine care line provide solid protection and performance through innovative designs.
In what Kimberly-Clark called a "first of its kind," U by Kotex Sleek Tampons feature the Perfect Touch Grip applicator, which is soft, smooth and slim to provide an easy hold for "just right" placement.
Meanwhile, the U by Kotex CleanWear Pad has a "revolutionary" MemoryFlex core that keeps its shape and fits closely with a woman’s curves, improving flexibility, according to the company.
Both innovations provide women with a high level of protection and comfort and establish a new level of performance, Kimberly-Clark said.
"Protection is a fundamental need in the feminine care category, yet up to 50% of young women experience product leakage and just accept it," stated Claire Miller, marketing director for Kotex North America. "These innovative new products are easy for use, provide a unique fit and deliver serious protection to help women feel confident and prepared."
Plans call for the new U by Kotex products to be supported with an integrated marketing program that includes television commercials, print advertising, direct-to-consumer online communications, consumer sampling and in-store support.
