STATESVILLE, N.C. — Bebida Beverage Co. (BeBevCo) is slated to roll out its relaxation and energy drinks at Duane Reade drug stores.
BeBevCo said Tuesday that it has acquired a vendor number with Duane Reade, a subsidiary of Walgreen Co., and that as planogram adjustments are made the rollout of its KOMA Unwind shots at the metropolitan New York drug chain is imminent.
BeBevCo develops, manufactures and markets beverages including the relaxation drinks KOMA Unwind Chillaxation Drink, KOMAUnwind Sugar-free Chillaxation Drink and KOMA Unwind Chillaxation Shot as well as the Potencia Energy Drink, Potencia BLAST energy shot, Relax 5 shots and Piranha Water.
The company added that new beverage distribution partner SKI Distribution will be rolling out KOMA Unwind drinks to thousands of retail stores over the next several months.
"After multiple trips, much work and many discussions, BeBevCo is now ready to bring KOMA Unwind relaxation 2-ounce shots to Duane Reade drug stores. A partnership with Duane Reade will immediately provide BeBevCo relaxation shots with a distribution avenue in the largest drug store market in the U.S.," stated Brian Weber, chief executive officer of BeBevCo. "We are honored to begin a sales relationship with the most recognized drug store chain in metropolitan New York as we continue to meet the growing demand for the KOMA Unwind brand."
