LOS ANGELES — Neutrogena Corp. has signed up actress Kristen Bell to be face of its new Neutrogena Naturals skin care line.
The Johnson & Johnson company said Wednesday that Bell joins beauty icons Jennifer Garner, Diane Lane, Gabrielle Union, Hayden Panettiere, Vanessa Hudgens, Miranda Cosgrove, Susie Castillo and Emma Roberts as the latest member of the Neutrogena family.
According to Neutrogena, Bell is an advocate for leading a healthy yet balanced lifestyle. She eats organic foods, grows certain fruits and vegetables in her own garden, cooks at home and hikes with her dogs regularly.
"I am thrilled to be the new face of Neutrogena Naturals because this naturals line really speaks to me," stated Bell, recently wrapped filming the movie "Everybody Loves Whales" opposite Drew Barrymore and John Krasinski, due out in early 2012. "As someone who uses a lot of natural product, it is exciting that Neutrogena is introducing a naturals line that not only works and is enjoyable to use but also doesn’t contain any dyes, chemical sulfates, parabens or petrochemicals."
The company said Neutrogena Naturals formulas are a new approach to natural skin care, leveraging advanced technology to harness natural ingredients with high levels of bioavailability, bringing natural skin care to a new level of clinical efficacy. The line includes two facial cleansers, a facial scrub, a bar soap and a lip balm. The Purifying Facial Cleanser is clinically proven to be more effective than the leading naturals cleanser, Neutrogena noted.
