L’Oreal names Margulies as brand ambassador

L’Oreal USA has signed award-winning actress Julianna Margulies as a new brand ambassador.

NEW YORK — L’Oreal USA has signed award-winning actress Julianna Margulies as a new brand ambassador.

The beauty care company said Monday that Margulies has entered into an exclusive North American contract to appear in advertising campaigns for L’Oreal Paris that are slated to launch in the United States starting next year.

"Entering into a partnership with Julianna Margulies is truly exciting for us," commented Cyril Chapuy, global brand president for L’Oreal Paris. "Aside from her unique beauty, Julianna is one of the most compassionate women in the business. She’s an exceptional addition to our amazing roster of spokespeople and we’re extremely proud to support her."

Margulies currently stars in the CBS television series "The Good Wife," for which she won Golden Globe and SAG awards. She also starred for six seasons on the TV series "ER," earning Emmy, Golden Globe and SAG awards. Most recently, she starred in "City Island," which won the audience award at the Tribeca Film Festival.

"I’m honored to represent a brand that is rich in history, synonymous with beauty and reflective of the modern woman," Margulies said in a statement. "As a fan of L’Oreal Paris, I am excited to work with a brand that puts forth elegant campaigns and offers quality beauty products."
