AmerisourceBergen Corp. has become the new pharmaceuticals distributor for Humana Pharmacy Solutions. Humana said Thursday that under the agreement, Valley Forge, Pa.-based AmerisourceBergen will be its primary wholesaler for drug purchasing. The five-year pact goes into effect on May 1.

Walgreens health and wellness division chief to retire

Hal Rosenbluth, president of Walgreen Co.’s health and wellness division, plans to retire this spring. Hal Rosenbluth Walgreens said Friday that Rosenbluth is set to retire in April but will continue as a senior consultant to chief executive officer Greg Wasson for health care services.
