Rite Aid Corp. said five more stores co-branded Save-A-Lot Food Stores/Rite Aid Pharmacy have opened in Greenville, S.C. The drug store chain said Monday that the openings follow the Sept. 27 debut of the first co-branded Save-A-Lot/Rite Aid Pharmacy in Easley, S.C.

Rx school diversity efforts get donation from Walgreens

Walgreen Co. plans to donate a total of $1.1 million to pharmacy schools across the country to help advance diversity. The drug store chain said that more than 100 pharmacy school programs nationwide each will receive $10,000 for diversity initiatives.
