BENTONVILLE, Ark. — Leslie Leonard has been named senior vice president and general merchandise manager for beauty and personal care at Walmart.
She had been Walmart's GMM of men's/kids/baby/footwear for close to three years. Before that she was GMM of apparel/footwear/jewelry/accessories and private brands at Walmart Canada. She earlier worked for Kohl's after starting her career at Target.
"After 18+ years in the fashion biz — most recently with the incredible Walmart U.S. Fashion team — I’m thrilled to share that I’ve stepped into a new role leading beauty and personal care at Walmart," Leonard wrote on LinkedIn. "I’m beyond excited about the opportunity to help shape what’s next in this dynamic, fast-evolving space — and to continue serving our customers in new, inspiring ways."
She thanked her fashion colleagues "for an unforgettable chapter filled with growth, partnership, and heart. I’ll forever be cheering you on (and proudly wearing your brands!)."
