Lilly unveils 2026 Team USA athletes, expands Milestones into Meaning program

Eli Lilly announced its Team USA lineup for the 2026 Winter Games. The company will also expand its Milestones into Meaning program.

INDIANAPOLIS — Eli Lilly and Company has unveiled its roster of Team USA athletes for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026, reaffirming its mission to champion holistic health and translate athletic achievements into meaningful community impact.

Lilly’s Team USA lineup includes seven Olympians and Paralympians known for their resilience and commitment to wellness: Elana Meyers Taylor (Bobsled), Madison Chock (Figure Skating), Erin Jackson (Speedskating), Maddie Mastro (Halfpipe Snowboarding), Mikaela Shiffrin (Alpine Skiing), Oksana Masters (Para Nordic Skiing and Para Biathlon), and Jack Wallace (Sled Hockey).

“As an athlete, I’ve learned that strength isn’t just built in the gym, it comes from caring for your whole self, body and mind,” said Meyers Taylor, the most decorated Black athlete in Winter Olympics history. “That’s why I’m proud to partner with Lilly, a company that understands that every milestone is made possible by the foundation of health.”

Building on its 2024 Olympic initiative, Lilly will once again activate its Milestones into Meaning™ program, donating $5,000 per Team USA medal or record to U.S. nonprofit organizations that expand access to health care. The 2024 program generated more than $2.6 million for 24 organizations, and in 2026, it will expand to benefit 26 groups nationwide.

“Every Olympic and Paralympic Games, athletes push the boundaries of what is possible,” said Jennifer Oleksiw, Lilly’s global chief customer officer. “Lilly brings that same determination to science, turning medical impossibilities into everyday care. Together with Team USA, we are driving progress both on the podium and in our communities.”

At the Team USA Media Summit in New York City this week, Lilly-sponsored athletes Erin Jackson, Oksana Masters, and Jack Wallace will take part in a panel titled “The Pursuit of Health Above All: Athlete Perspectives.” The discussion will focus on resilience, mental health, and how access to care enables both athletic and community potential.

“The health of our athletes and the communities they represent is at the core of Team USA’s mission,” said Dr. Jessica Bartley, senior director of psychological services at the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Committee. “Lilly’s partnership ensures that excellence on the world stage is matched by support for greater well-being at home.”

Lilly’s role as an Official Partner of Team USA and a presenting partner of Making Team USA with Xfinity and NBCUniversal will continue through both the Milano Cortina 2026 and LA28 Games, reinforcing its long-term commitment to improving health access and empowering communities nationwide.
