Mars unveils chocolate M&M’s ice cream sandwich

Mars Wrigley Confectionery has expanded its ice cream lineup with the introduction of the new chocolate-flavored M&M’s ice cream sandwich. M&M’S Chocolate Cookie Sandwiches are made with reduced-fat chocolate ice cream sandwiched by two cookies packed with M&M’s Minis.

HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. — Mars Wrigley Confectionery has expanded its ice cream lineup with the introduction of the new chocolate-flavored M&M’s ice cream sandwich.

M&M’S Chocolate Cookie Sandwiches are made with reduced-fat chocolate ice cream sandwiched by two cookies packed with M&M’s Minis.

Mars had previously released an M&M’s Cookie Sandwich made with reduced-fat vanilla ice cream, but this is the first time the M&M’s brand has launched a chocolate ice cream sandwich.

“Following the success or our original M&M’S Cookie Sandwich, we are excited to provide chocolate lovers everywhere with a new treat made just for them,” Emily Strobel, marketing director, Mars Ice Cream said in a statement.

“This addition to our M&M’S Ice Cream lineup is not only perfect for ice cream fans, but as a brand we are thrilled to build on the success of the original M&M’S Cookie Sandwiches,” she added.

M&M’S Chocolate Cookie Sandwiches are now available at drug, mass, grocery and convenience stores nationwide, with a suggested retail price of $4.99 for a six-pack box or $1.99 for one 4oz bar.
