WAYNE, N.J. — MicroTouch has added a “smart” all-in-one razor, dubbed the MicroTouch Solo, to its economically priced men’s grooming line.
The IdeaVillage Products Corp. brand said the MicroTouch Solo brings together razor, edger and trimmer functions into a single grooming tool for any facial hair style, ranging from refined facial stubble and scruff to more complex looks such as the chin strap, thin beard and soul patch.
Designed to eliminate the need for multiple grooming devices, the MicroTouch Solo has German stainless steel blades on a pivoting head to provide precision contouring in an eco-friendly rechargeable unit that lasts up to 45 minutes and sports a balanced, water-resistant handle.
IdeaVillage noted that, unlike other razors, the Solo shaves bidirectionally, in either up or down strokes. Users can snap on any of the include three combs to trim their scruff or beard however they please. Also with a built-in light, the Solo edges precisely to give a sharp, clean edge to neck hair, sideburns, mustaches, goatees and other facial hair, the company said, adding that the razor doesn’t nick, cut or irritate the skin, making it an effective solution for both the face and body.
“We took a decade of learning from our razor and trimmer tools and set out to create a single tool that can handle all of today’s facial hair trends. Solo lets men customize their look, their way, without breaking the bank,” stated Andy Khubani, chief executive officer of IdeaVillage, the maker of MicroTouch. “And Solo can be used anytime, anywhere because you don’t need soap or water to get a fresh shave.”
Joining the MicroTouch Tough Blade and MAX, which are endorsed by former NFL superstar quarterback Brett Favre, the MicroTouch SOLO carries a suggested retail price of $24.99 and is available at CVS Pharmacy, Walgreens, Rite Aid, Walmart, Target, Bed Bath and Beyond and Amazon.com.
