RESTON, Va. — Aaron Loutsch has been promoted to senior vice president and chief technology officer (CTO).

The pharmacy-based patient care network said Tuesday that Loutsch, previously vice president of technology, will be responsible for establishing Mirixa’s information technology vision and overseeing the strategic direction, development and future growth of Mirixa across all technical aspects of the company. He reports directly to the chief executive officer Marvin Richardson.

"I am excited to be appointed the CTO of Mirixa," Loutsch said in a statement. "When I joined Mirixa, it was a small start-up company. Being part of the team that has helped Mirixa grow from strength to strength has been an incredible experience. I look forward to building on that success by helping Mirixa attain its strategic goals and take us to the next level."

Loutsch has more than 18 years of IT experience, ranging from engineering management to data and systems architecture. He is one of the most tenured employees at Mirixa, joining the company in 2006, and has played a vital role in the growth and achievements of Mirixa and its products, the company said.

"Aaron’s insight will be extremely valuable as we continue to advance our suite of adherence-based products and services," Richardson stated. "Together with his expertise and leadership skills, he has the experience and passion to drive innovation and continually improve our customer and community pharmacy experience."

Mirixa’s network enables the health care community to deliver patient care services through retail pharmacies. Its MirixaPro web-based clinical platform is used by pharmacists to deliver standardized patient care services.
