WOONSOCKET, R.I. — With a recent study from IBM showing the percentage of consumers using mobile devices to shop has nearly tripled over the past year, CVS/pharmacy has made its entire cvs.com catalog available through its mobile site.

“Our new mobile shopping site offers digitally minded shoppers a superior on-the-go retail shopping experience,” senior vice president and chief marketing officer Rob Price says.
CVS/pharmacy’s newest mCommerce enhancements provide a full range of options for smartphone users, he says.

Besides being able to access the 25,000-product cvs.com catalog, visitors to the company’s mobile site can redeem coupons and offers; purchase and ship products; browse product categories and search for specific items; update credit card and account information for shipping and billing; and log in to their CVS Photo account to order and purchase prints for in-store pickup.

Price explains that the mobile enhancements complement previous upgrades that allow shoppers to spot nearby CVS/pharmacy stores by using their phone’s GPS, check the company’s weekly circular and find MinuteClinic locations and services.

CVS/pharmacy shoppers can also manage their ExtraCare rewards accounts and scan and send prescription refills from their smartphone.
