NACDS fighting for PBM reform in California

The National Association of Chain Drug Stores (NACDS) is joining with California State Senator Scott Wiener (D), the California Chronic Care Coalition and the California Pharmacists Association to urge the enactment of needed pharmacy benefit manager (PBM) reforms in the state.

The National Association of Chain Drug Stores (NACDS) is joining with California State Senator Scott Wiener (D), the California Chronic Care Coalition and the California Pharmacists Association to urge the enactment of needed pharmacy benefit manager (PBM) reforms in the state.

On Monday, September 16, at 10:00 AM PST/1:00 PM EST, Senator Wiener will join pharmacists, patients and physicians at Mission Wellness Pharmacy, located at 2424 Mission Street, San Francisco, CA 94110, to urge California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) to sign Senate Bill (SB) 966 — pivotal PBM reform legislation that would help rein in the harmful tactics of the PBM middlemen by providing much-needed oversight and transparency.
