NORTHRIDGE, Calif. — Nature Made is adding a pair of new offerings to its VitaMelts smooth-melting vitamin supplement line.

Pharmavite LLC, maker of Nature Made products, said Wednesday that this fall it plans to roll out VitaMelts Multi and VitaMelts Hair, Skin & Nails at major retailers, including CVS/pharmacy and Target.
VitaMelts Multi, which comes in a tropical fruit flavor, is formulated with 12 key vitamins to support the daily nutritional needs of men and women. The supplement contains 100% daily value of vitamins A, C, E and B and 1,000 IU of vitamin D per serving, according to the company.
The strawberry lemonade-flavored VitaMelts Hair, Skin & Nails is formulated with 2,500 mcg of biotin, which may help support healthy hair, skin and nails for those deficient in biotin, per serving, as well as with 60 mg of vitamin C, which helps supports collagen production, Nature Made said.
"VitaMelts melt smoothly in your mouth without water, so they’re easy to take on the go and enjoy anytime, anywhere," stated Erin Gehan, vice president of marketing for Pharmavite. "With the additions of VitaMelts Multi and VitaMelts Hair, Skin & Nails, consumers can further meet their daily value of essential nutrients with a great-tasting and convenient vitamin supplement."
VitaMelts made its debut last fall with six varieties: Vitamin C (juicy orange flavor), Vitamin D (creamy vanilla), Zinc (honey lemon), Energy (mixed berry), Sleep (chocolate mint) and Relax (green tea mint).
