ALEXANDRIA, Va. — The National Community Pharmacists Association today released the final episode in its first season of “Show Me,” an educational reality series. These are entertaining videos styled after popular TV makeover shows, only these stars are real pharmacists who need help getting a certain aspect of their business on track. This season the subject has been immunizations.

The season finale takes us to Neosho, Mo., where the team at Mitchell’s Drug Stores has been caring for their community for years with services like adherence packaging, point-of-care testing and, yes, vaccines. Owner and pharmacist Tim Mitchell wanted to amp up their marketing efforts to reach a broader audience with their immunization offerings. “Show Me” coach Nicolette Mathey, PharmD, came to town to see if she could help them more efficiently contact current patients with updates and reach new segments of would-be patients within their area. Find out how they progress in the final episode, titled, “Marketing My Vaccine Program.”

“We enjoyed bringing you these episodes of ‘Show Me’ and helping NCPA members address real-life challenges,” says NCPA Innovation Center President Kurt Proctor, PhD, RPh. “We appreciate Pfizer’s sponsorship of this season – The Vaccine Episodes – and we look forward to what’s to come in season two.”

The NCPA Innovation Center announced the “Show Me” project, which is sponsored by Pfizer, at the NCPA Annual Convention in October 2022. All five episodes of the first season are now available on NCPA’s YouTube channel, NCPAvids.

NCPA is actively soliciting ideas and sponsors for the next season of “Show Me.” Interested pharmacists, industry professionals, and companies should contact education@ncpa.org.
