NORWALK, Conn. — The Boots No7 brand is celebrating its 77th anniversary with a pair of new skin care product and a brand redesign for the U.S. market.

Boots North America said Tuesday that it’s introducing No7 Beautiful Skin, a two-step skin care range called that eliminates the need for a toner, and No7 Lift & Luminate, an anti-aging collection for mature skin that includes day, night and eye creams.

"Since our national launch in 2007, we have seen tremendous brand loyalty and growth with the U.S. consumer," stated Steve Lloyd, chief executive officer of Boots North America, a unit of United Kingdom-based Alliance Boots. "It is our continued commitment to bring the latest in skin care research and development which offers consumers exactly what their skin needs. Through the much anticipated relaunch of No7, we are delivering skin care products for every stage of a woman’s life, empowering her to feel good about her product purchase."

No7 Beautiful Skin is a two-step cleansing and moisturizing system for all ages designed to shift daily skin care from the popular three-step routine by eliminating the need for a toner, according to Boots. Vitamin E, vitamin C, a unique mineral blend and specialized ingredients help skin maintain balance to look more healthy and radiant after 14 days, the company said. The product addresses three skin types — normal/oily, normal/dry and dry/very dry — and is presented in color-coded packaging to help consumers identify the tailored skin nutrition needed for each individual skin type.

No7 also is revamping the packaging of its Regimen Boosts, Daily Essentials and Problem Solvers & Treatments ranges, which address blemishes, shine, dry skin and the signs of aging, as well as introducing new products to those lines, such as Rapid Spot Rescue to reduce the appearance of blemishes, T-Zone Rescue for oily skin and Overnight Revitalising Eye Balm to diminish dark under-eye circles.

Meanwhile, the new No7 Lift & Luminate Day, Night and Eye Creams is intended for more mature skin to help firm, brighten and visibly improve the appearance of wrinkles while protecting against new ones, the company said.

Boots brand products are currently available in the United States at Target, drugstore.com (part of Walgreen Co.) and Ulta as well as in Canada at Shoppers Drug Mart. Plans call for the brand to also be introduced in Walgreens stores as part a partnership between Walgreen Co. and Alliance Boots.
