MINNEAPOLIS —Amanda Nusz has been named senior vice president of merchandising, essentials and beauty at Target Corp., according to a post on her LinkedIn page. Nusz was previously in charge of the company’s Corporate Responsibility & Sustainability (CR&S) team.

“I’m excited to share I’m stepping into the role of senior vice president of merchandising, essentials and beauty for Target. Agata Ramallo Garcia will now lead our CR&S team and the next phase of our Target Forward strategy,” Nusz wrote.

“I am incredibly proud of my time leading the CR&S team and our progress towards our ambitious Target Forward goals. In my new role, I’m looking forward to working with so many great brands and partners—to strengthen these partnerships, to expand the experiences for our guests, and to continue to meet our sustainability goals through our assortment and experience.

“My time at CR&S and with the Target Foundation was special. I’d like to recognize Ron Brown for his philanthropic and community work and, of course, Agata Ramallo Garcia for her steadfast dedication to Target Forward. I’m thrilled to be returning to merchandising and working with some great teams in Essentials & Beauty, and I can’t wait to share all the new and transformative work to come,” she added.

Nusz  has 25 years of experience in strategic planning, business development, and global operational leadership. Her drive to embrace new challenges and broaden her expertise has contributed to success in various high-profile, high-impact positions. During her tenure at Target, she spent the majority of her time building brands and developing strategies to increase revenue, while leading a high-performing team-centered culture.
