Old Spice adds odor-control body wash

Procter & Gamble Co.’s Old Spice brand has introduced Odor Blocker body wash, which is designed to detect, neutralize and protect men from body odor for 16 hours.

CINCINNATI — Procter & Gamble Co.’s Old Spice brand has introduced Odor Blocker body wash, which is designed to detect, neutralize and protect men from body odor for 16 hours.

P&G said Thursday that Old Spice Odor Blocker combines a clean scent to help keep men smelling great and feeling fresh throughout the day. The Odor Blocker formula sports a proprietary, breakthrough technology to stop odor before it starts by targeting and neutralizing the source.

Old Spice developed the technology specifically to help safeguard men from their natural tendency to release certain odors when they sweat, while providing long-lasting freshness.

"Guys need a body wash that can protect them from odors throughout an active day," stated James Moorhead, Old Spice brand manager. "Old Spice Odor Blocker body wash contains 16 hours of odor blocking power to keep guys smelling fresh all day long."

Old Spice Odor Blocker is available now at a suggested retail price of $3.99 for a 10-ounce bottle.

The Odor Blocker launch was kicked off with a series of new commercials, starring former NFL player and movie/television star Terry Crews, which reinforces the long-lasting power of the new body wash.
