MARINA DEL REY, Calif. — Out of Africa has added to its skin care lineup with the launch of Whipped & Creamy Shea Body Butters.

The company said Tuesday that the new shea body butters, described as "feather light, fluffy and fast-absorbing," are 100% pure and cruelty-free and come in four all-natural scents: vanilla, lavender, lemon verbena and pomegranate.
Priced at $12.99 for a 3.4-ounce tube, the Whipped & Creamy Shea Body Butters can be used on the face, lips, elbows, heels and anywhere else that skin needs instant hydration, according to Out of Africa.
The products are made with shea butter that is hand-harvested by women’s cooperatives in West Africa. The rich, velvety body butters glide on smoothly and penetrate deeply, melting quickly into the skin without feeling greasy or sticky, the company noted.
Containing healthy fatty acids and the antioxidants vitamins A, E and F, the new body butters provide the ultimate nourishing, hydrating and anti-aging benefits, Out of Africa added.
The company said shea butter helps reduce the appearance of stretch marks, fine lines, cracked skin, scars and many other ailments. It can also help soothe psoriasis and eczema.
