ALLEGAN, Mich. — Perrigo Co. has appointed Jacqualyn Fouse, an executive at biopharmaceutical company Celgene Corp., as a director on its board.
"Jackie’s outstanding background has served her well in leadership roles at several pharmaceutical and health care companies," Perrigo chairman and chief executive officer Joseph Papa said in a statement Tuesday. "Her broad business and strategic acumen will allow her to make excellent contributions to our board. We are pleased to welcome Jackie to the Perrigo board of directors."
The 51-year-old Fouse has been chief financial officer at Celgene since September 2010. She previously has served as CFO at Bunge Ltd., a global agribusiness and food company, and at Alcon Laboratories, a leading eye care company.
Prior to Alcon, Fouse also was CFO of Swissair Group in Switzerland and served as group treasurer of Nestle S.A. in Switzerland. She also has held various senior-level financial posts in both the U.S. and Switzerland with Alcon and Nestle from 1986 to 1999.
