ORANGE, Conn. — PEZ Candy Inc. has added two new flavors, Strawberry-Vanilla and Raspberry-Lemon.
The company said Wednesday that the new flavors are the first blends of the dispenser candy to be launched in the United States.
Plans call for the Strawberry-Vanilla and Raspberry-Lemon blends to ship as part of a 10-pack bonus candy SKU and then be packaged with PEZ’s regular assortments.
"We are very excited about our new flavor bends. They have done well in Europe, and we have modified the flavors accordingly for the U.S. market," commented Joe Vittoria, chief executive officer of PEZ Candy.
The new flavor combination join the assorted fruit flavors of cherry, strawberry, raspberry, grape, orange and lemon. PEZ also offers chocolate, cola,and a line of sour flavors called PEZ Sourz, which includes Blue Raspberry, Watermelon, Pineapple and Green Apple.
