BOULDER, Colo. — Allison Janda has been promoted to vice president of retail store operations at Pharmaca Integrative Pharmacy Inc.
The regional drug store chain said Tuesday that Janda will play an integral role in implementing Pharmaca’s brand and values throughout its 22 stores, which are located in California, Colorado, New Mexico, Oregon and Washington.
Janda joined Pharmaca in 2006 and, in her role as director of retail operations, has been instrumental in supporting significant growth in stores and implementing key initiatives and processes, according to the company. She also has provided strong operational leadership that has produced significant improvements in store execution, training, team development, cost controls and sales growth, Pharmaca said.
With broad experience in the retail sector, Janda has held positions at Gap Inc., American Eagle Outfitters, Mimi Maternity and Fresh Produce, and while at those retailers she opened multiple stores, helped rebuild brands and maximized profitability, Pharmaca reported.
"Allison has a proven record of leading our team members to success and implementing systems that maximize what Pharmaca has to offer," Pharmaca chief executive officer Mark Panzer said in a statement. "We’re excited to see how Allison will expand her already pivotal role in streamlining store operations."
Describing itself as "the nation’s first integrative pharmacy chain," Pharmaca offers traditional prescription-filling services along with natural and complementary health
solutions.
