SAINT-GEORGES, Quebec — Pharmaprix opened its first store in the Beauce region on Thursday, expanding its footprint in Quebec with a new pharmacy location at 17330 Boulevard Lacroix in Saint-Georges.
The more than 12,000-square-foot store marks the retailer's debut in the region and is expected to create approximately 30 jobs. The location operates seven days a week from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. and offers pharmacy services alongside beauty, personal care and everyday household products.
A key feature of the new store is its Pharmacy Care Clinic, designed to improve access to primary healthcare services in the community. Patients will have access to prescription services, medication reviews and treatment optimization consultations with pharmacists. The clinic will also provide vaccinations, chronic disease management support and consultations for common health concerns.
"We are very pleased to open the first pharmacy affiliated with our Pharmaprix network in Beauce and establish our presence in the region," said Ali Nassiri, vice president of Pharmaprix. "This is a wonderful opportunity for us to connect more closely with the local community and help improve access to healthcare."
Nassiri added that the company aims to provide pharmacists with a modern environment that supports patient care while introducing residents to a broad range of healthcare, beauty and convenience offerings.
The new location is owned and operated by pharmacist Senamin Skevie Ahouansou, who recently established herself in the region.

The opening represents Pharmaprix's latest investment in expanding access to healthcare services while providing communities with a one-stop destination for pharmacy, beauty and everyday shopping needs.
