IRVINGTON, N.Y. — Paul Hennessey has been appointed to vice president of operations at Prestige Brands Holdings Inc.
Prestige Brands said Friday that Hennessey joins the company from Pfizer Consumer Healthcare (formerly Wyeth), where he spent 18 years in supply chain and manufacturing operations in positions of increasing responsibility.
"We are excited to have Paul heading our operations team at Prestige. His background in over-the-counter consumer products is a terrific match for our company," stated Matthew Mannelly, president and chief executive officer of Prestige Brands. "As we continue to grow and become even more customer- and consumer-focused in OTC, Paul’s leadership skills and extensive experience in supply chain manufacturing will serve our brands and our company well."
Prestige Brands’ roster of OTC health care and household products includes such names as Chloraseptic (sore throat treatments), Compound W (wart remover), Clear Eyes (eye care), Little Remedies and PediaCare (children’s remedies); The Doctor’s NightGuard (dental protector), Efferdent and Effergrip (denture care), Luden’s (throat drops), and Comet and Spic and Span (household cleaners).
