CINCINNATI — With the help of comedian Larry the Cable Guy, Prilosec OTC has a winner for its Wild American Flavor Sweepstakes.
The Procter & Gamble antacid brand said Thursday that over the last three months, as part of the Wild American Flavor Tour, Larry the Cable Guy — a frequent heartburn sufferer — has been traveling the country to visit cities known for their fiery nightlife, all-American flavors and traditions and die-hard sports fans. At each sporting event he visited, he encouraged fans to enter the Wild American Flavor Sweepstakes and introduced the new Prilosec OTC Wildberry.
Of more than 200,000 entries, William R. of Pennsylvania was randomly selected to win the ultimate sports pack. He won a trip to three of the country’s most flavorful cities that host the biggest sporting events in America. The prize pack includes tickets to the Super Bowl in New Orleans (Feb. 3); the Daytona 500 in Daytona Beach, Fla., (Feb. 24); and the NCAA basketball championship game in Atlanta (April 8), along with travel and accommodations and a check for $5,000.
Besides testing out the local flavors of each city during his tour, Larry the Cable Guy also hung out with such athletes as NASCAR legend Bobby Allison, Super Bowl champion Roger Craig, NASCAR’s Austin Dillon and Green Bay Packers nose tackle Gilbert Brown.
"Nowadays you can liven up close to anything, so why not shake up your daily routine?" stated Larry the Cable Guy. "That’s why I love Prilosec OTC Wildberry. It not only treats my frequent heartburn just like Prilosec OTC, it also has a new fancy coating with burst of sweet berry flavor."
The latest version of the over-the-counter medicine for frequent heartburn, Prilosec OTC Wildberry is a flavor-coated pill that you do not chew. It can work for 24 hours by shutting down many acid pumps in your stomach when used as directed for 14 days.
