HAUPPAUGE, N.Y. — Red Carpet Manicure has introduced a new line of do-it-yourself, light-activated gel nail, cuticle and hand treatments that it describes as the first of its kind.

The company said Tuesday that the five-item nail care collection includes Nail Remedy, Nail Recovery, Cuticle Balm, Cuticle Elixir and Youth Creme.

Each product is specially formulated to heal and protect cuticles while strengthening and conditioning nails, according to Red Carpet Manicure.

Nail Remedy is designed to protect nails against excess moisture, external chipping and cracking, producing a resilient, stronger finish and enhancing complete natural nail growth, the company noted. Nail Recovery is formulated to rejuvenate brittle, peeling nails.

Meanwhile, Cuticle Balm rehydrates dry and cracked nail beds, and Cuticle Elixir, a super-saturating serum, is formulated to soothe tender, damaged cuticles. Youth Creme provides three levels of professional treatment — for nails, cuticles and hands — for use after each manicure and pedicure.

Plans call for the Red Carpet Manicure Nail Treatment Collection to hit shelves nationwide at Ulta Beauty and ulta.com on March 1.

"After spending the past year introducing consumers to our at-home LED gel nail polish system, we were asked by consumers to expand our technologies to address nail care," stated Barry Shields, managing partner of Red Carpet Manicure. "As a brand, we truly listen to our consumers and constantly work to formulate the best nail science to care for our customers’ most valued accessories — their nails and hands."

The company added that it’s also launching a first-ever professional LED light with a USB port. And part of its expanding line of LED gel polishes, the European and Designer Collections will be available nationwide on March 1 with such shades as Diva In Disguise and Always Slate Never Early.

Crystal Gems, Nail Glitz Designer Nail Glitters and Professional Nail Appliques round out Red Carpet Manicure’s slate of new products launching in March.
