If you weren’t able to get to the 2015 NACDS Total Store Expo in Denver, or were there and missed out on some of the happenings, NACDS-TV has provided a recap segment of the conference.

The sold-out show floor featured about 725 exhibitors vying for the attention of retail merchants and operating executives representing 338 retail companies. Attendance at the event totaled about 5,900 retailers and vendors. The exhibitors represented virtually every nonfood category.

“We’re a big retailer, so generally the big players are calling on us,” Cory Canady of CVS Health told NACDS-TV. “But sometimes we don’t have the opportunity to connect with smaller, emerging suppliers. So this [expo] is a great opportunity and forum for doing that.”

Also, talking about their Meet the Retailer presentations, hear from Jocelyn Konrad of Rite Aid about the expected synergies from the company’s acquisition of PBM EnvisionRx and from Annie Walker of Walmart about how the retail giant aims to help provide consumers broader access to health care products. IMS Health’s Doug Long also chats with NACDS-TV about his presentation on the fast-growing specialty pharmacy market.
