Rite Aid selling remaining assets

Hilco Global is managing the sale, with bids due by October 31 and an auction possibly on November 6.

PHILADELPHIA — Rite Aid is selling its remaining assets, including the brand, website domain, private label brands, and loyalty data, to be sold by Hilco Global. Previously, in a bankruptcy-related deal, CVS Pharmacy acquired many physical stores and prescription files from former Rite Aid locations. 

Remaining assets for sale include:

  • Brand and intellectual property: The Rite Aid brand, including the brand name, domain (RiteAid.com), and private label brands such as Ryshi, PawTown, Refreshery, and Tugaboos are being sold.
  • Loyalty data: Certain "front-end" loyalty data is also part of the sale.
  • Management: Hilco Global is managing the sale, with bids due by October 31, 2025, and an auction possibly on November 6, 2025.
