CAMP HILL, Pa. — Rite Aid Corp. is giving members of its wellness+ with Plenti rewards program a chance to get a big jump in points.
Starting on Jan. 31, holders of the free customer loyalty card can earn 5,000 Plenti points when they spend up to $200 on participating products in stores or at RiteAid.com via the drug chain’s “Big Point Event,” which runs through Feb. 27.
Over 14,000 products are eligible for the promotion, including skin care, cosmetics and beauty products such as moisturizers and nail kits; personal care items like toothpaste, deodorant, body wash and razors; over-the-counter medicines such as allergy, cold and pain relief; hair care products such as accessories, curling irons, shampoo and conditioner; household supplies like paper goods, cleaning supplies, batteries and pet food; and food and beverages such as snacks, cereals and flavored drinks.
Participating products are identified with blue “The Big Point Event” promotional shelf tags. Customers can make multiple visits and purchases to reach the reward thresholds to earn up to 5,000 Plenti points, Rite Aid noted.
“Our January promotion, ‘2016 Starting Points,’ was well-received by our customers, so we decided to offer our loyal shoppers another chance to easily and quickly earn more Plenti points,” John Learish, senior vice president of marketing at Rite Aid, said in a statement. “By participating in ‘The Big Point Event’ promotion, customers have the opportunity to earn up to 5,000 Plenti points, equivalent to $50 in savings, to be used on future Rite Aid purchases or at select Plenti partners.”
Wellness+ with Plenti members earn Plenti points on featured items they buy. The points can be used for at least two years on future savings at Rite Aid and Plenti partners, which include AT&T, Exxon, Macy’s and Mobil.
