ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — Rite Aid Corp. has renewed its payment and money services agreement with Western Union.
The global payments services giant said consumers at Rite Aid’s more than 4,550 drug stores nationwide will continue to be able to send and receive Western Union Money Transfer transactions across the United States or to more than 200 countries and territories.
“At Rite Aid, we are committed to meeting not only the health and wellness needs of our customers and communities, but their everyday needs, too,” Tony Sadler, vice president of store operations at Rite Aid, said in a statement. “Our relationship with Western Union allows us to offer customers even more value by providing a reliable option when it comes to moving money or facilitating bill payments, with convenience and a high level of customer service.”
Via Western Union’s services, consumers also can buy purchase money orders and pay their bills at all Rite Aid stores.
