BENTONVILLE, Ark. — Sam’s Club has tapped Sean Jackson to succeed Jill Turner-Mitchael as senior vice president for consumables and health and wellness.
Jackson, who joined Sam’s Club in 2009 from Linens ’n Things, most recently served as vice president for home. He began his career at May Department Stores.
Turner-Mitchael retired effective January 31. She had joined Walmart in 1992 as a pharmacist in Lubbock, Texas.
In her 26 years with the company, she led a number of teams at both Walmart and Sam’s Club, including Walmart pharmacy operations and the Sam’s Club merchandising, operations, and health and wellness divisions. She was named senior vice president and general merchandise manager for consumables and health and wellness in 2008.
