BRIDGEWATER, N.J. — For Earth Month, Sanofi Consumer Health Care (CHC) North America, makers of Allegra, Icy Hot, Dulcolax and other leading brands, has teamed up with One Tree Planted furthering its commitment to sustainability.
Throughout April, a portion of sales from Sanofi CHC brands will directly contribute to the planting of 100,000 trees. Through this partnership, Sanofi CHC brands and One Tree Planted are continuing to foster positive change one tree at a time. Participating brands include ACT, Allegra, Aspercreme, Cortizone-10, Dulcolax, Gold Bond, Icy Hot, Nasacort, Selsun blue, Unisom, Xyzal, and Zantac360.
Here are some additional ways Sanofi CHC and its brands are putting their commitment to sustainability into action:
- Sanofi CHC has pledged to be carbon neutral by 2030 and net zero emissions by 2045.
- Since 2019, the organization has reduced their greenhouse gas emissions of its North American manufacturing site by 77%.
- Leading household brands like Allegra and Nasacort are reducing their environmental footprint by eliminating plastic windows from packing and increasing packaging recyclability, resulting in the reduction of 35 tons of plastic packaging.
- Allegra’s groundbreaking navigation tool, Allegra Airways, helps outdoor enthusiasts find real-time walking, biking, and running routes with cleaner air based on hyperlocal pollen and air pollution levels on a street-by-street basis.
