GUILFORD, Conn. — Mitchell-Vance Laboratories LLC’s ScarAway scar treatment has been added to the mix in nearly 800 more food/drug stores and other retail outlets nationwide.

Company executives said that new outlets carrying the product include stores operated by Harris Teeter Inc., Shopko Stores Operating Co. and Pathmark Stores Inc., bringing the brand’s total retail outlet tally to more than 20,000.

ScarAway has also been added to the 110 NEXCOM (Navy Exchange Service Command) stores around the world.

Shopko and Pathmark are offering ScarAway Silicone Scar Sheets to their lineup, while Harris Teeter and NEXCOM are carrying the sheets along with ScarAway Scar Diminishing Serum.

Executives pointed out that the ScarAway products can nearly eliminate the appearance of a scar after eight to 12 weeks of use.

"We are pleased to join with these respected retail partners to make easy-to-use, affordable, at-home scar management accessible to everyone, including our military service personnel and their families stationed across the globe," stated Mitchell-Vance founder and president Jessica Rowen.

Earlier this year, the company announced retail distribution for ScarAway Silicone Scar Sheets with food and drug retail giant Kroger Co.

ScarAway scar treatment products are also carried at such supermarket retailers as Albertsons, Supervalu, Meijer and H-E-B as well as at drug chains including Walgreens, CVS, Duane Reade and Kerr Drug.
