SPARTANBURG, S.C. — Ermis Labs has entered a distribution agreement with pharmacy wholesaler Smith Drug Co. for its CoralActives acne treatment line.
The skin health products company said Monday that Smith Drug will distribute CoralActives’ Complete Acne Therapy System, Retinol Exfoliating Cleanser, 6% BPO Acne Serum, 10% BPO Acne Cleansing Bar and Moisturizer for Acne-Prone Skin.
According to Ermis Labs, CoralActives acne products provide effective results with two simple steps that are well-tolerated on the skin and include a renewable ingredient intended to help reduce redness and irritation: Sea Whip Extract.
The Retinol Exfoliating Cleanser promotes good skin health for all skin types, Ermis Labs said, preparing the skin to receive the Penetrating Acne Serum Gel, which has benzoyl peroxide to kill bacteria, Sea Whip Extract to alleviate inflamed skin, humectants to attract water from the atmosphere onto the skin and emollients to retain the moisture on skin. The cleanser and serum also come in a combo kit.
Meanwhile, CoralActives’ Acne Cleansing Bar, with 10% benzoyl peroxide, is designed to treat acne on the chest, back, shoulder and buttocks. It also contains coconut oil, vitamins A and E, and shea butter. And the CoralActives’ moisturizer is formulated with a blend of natural ingredients to help fight acne as moisturize skin.
Smith Drug serves more than 1,000 pharmacies in South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Tennessee, Virginia, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Arkansas, Missouri, Kentucky, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Ohio, Oklahoma, West Virginia, Texas, the District of Columbia and the Virgin Islands.
