CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Snyder’s-Lance Inc. has rolled out Lance Cracker Creations, a premium seasoned sandwich cracker with vegetables, cheese or herbs baked in.
The snack manufacturer said Monday that the new Cracker Creations all-natural sandwich crackers have five grams of whole grain per serving and come in two varieties, Garden Vegetable and Parmesan Herb, with a real cream-cheese filling.
According to the company, the Garden Vegetable variety features the taste and aroma of tomatoes, bell peppers and onions, while the Parmesan Herb variety has the rich, buttery taste of just-grated Parmesan cheese.
"Our research revealed that consumers are looking for a premium snacking option that will excite their taste buds while keeping them full between meals," commented Alvaro Trinidad, senior brand manager at Snyder’s-Lance. "By baking the vegetables, cheese and herb flavors right into the cracker, Cracker Creations fills the gap for adults who want a sensible, fresh and all-natural snack."
Cracker Creations are larger than traditional Lance sandwich crackers and come packaged in twin packs, with six twin packs per box. And like all Lance sandwich crackers, Cracker Creations have no trans fat, no preservatives and no high-fructose corn syrup, the company said.
