Former Walmart vice president of pharmacy Frank Segrave has joined the board of directors at Bartell Drugs. On the drug chain’s board, Segrave replaces Brian Unmacht, who was appointed as president and chief executive officer of Bartell Drugs in April.

SDM boosts support for women’s health

Shoppers Drug Mart (SDM) has unveiled a three-year, $1 million partnership with Osteoporosis Canada as part of the retailer’s new Shoppers LOVE YOU program. SDM said the alliance aims to build awareness about how to reduce the risk of osteoporosis and the broken bones that it can cause.
