Physicians Formula CFO to depart

Jeff Berry has resigned his position as chief financial officer at Physicians Formula Holdings Inc. The cosmetics and skin care product maker said Wednesday that Berry is leaving the company "to pursue other professional interests" and is slated to exit his post on Jan. 13.

Sebamed skin care to make U.S. debut at CVS

Germany-based Sebamed skin care products are slated to hit shelves at CVS/pharmacy next year. Physician Laboratories Inc., the U.S. distributor of Sebamed, said Tuesday that the products will be carried in 7,300 CVS stores starting in mid-January.

AstraZeneca to downsize U.S. sales force

AstraZeneca plans to cut more than 1,000 jobs from its U.S. sales force as part of a restructuring program unveiled last year. The pharmaceutical firm said Wednesday that it aims to eliminate about 1,150 leadership positions and sales representatives, or roughly 24% of its U.S. sales organization.
