Bristol-Myers Squibb names Bancroft CFO

The board of directors at Bristol-Myers Squibb Co. has elected Charles Bancroft as chief financial officer. Bancroft, who had been serving as the pharmaceutical giant’s acting CFO since Jan. 1, took over the CFO position on a permanent basis effective April 8, the company said Thursday.

Ex-P&G chief Lafley joins investment firm

A.G. Lafley, the former chairman, president and chief executive officer of Procter & Gamble Co., has joined private equity firm Clayton, Dubilier & Rice as a special partner. The investment company, which has headquarters in London and New York, announced the addition of Lafley Wednesday evening.

Tripp joins board at pharmacy kiosk maker Asteres

Former Supervalu Inc. executive and pharmacy veteran Kevin Tripp has been named to the board of directors at Asteres Inc. San Diego-based Asteres, a provider of automated pharmacy and wellness kiosks and the maker of the ScriptCenter prescription pickup kiosk, announced the move this week.

Helen of Troy wraps up Pert Plus, Sure acquisition

Helen of Troy Ltd. has closed its agreement to acquire the Pert Plus hair care and Sure antiperspirant and deodorant brands from Innovative Brands LLC. Terms of the deal, announced in early March, weren’t disclosed. Plans call for Helen of Troy to integrate Pert Plus and Sure into its Idelle Labs
