CAMP HILL, Pa. — Rite Aid Corp. is offering members of its wellness+ with Plenti loyalty program an extra reward to start off the new year.
The drug chain said that through Jan. 23, customers can earn 1,000 Plenti points on every $30 spent on participating products in stores or online at RiteAid.com.
Participating products will be identified with a yellow “2016 Starting Points” tag on store shelves. Rite Aid said more than 13,000 products will be part of the promotion, including such categories as beauty, first aid, vitamins, personal care, home goods, food and beverages, among others. The points can be used for at least two years on future savings at Rite Aid and Plenti merchant partners, which include AT&T, ExxonMobil and Macy’s. Customers can earn up to 8,000 Plenti points during the four-week promotional period, with a limit of two $10 offers per wellness+ with Plenti card each week.
“As we kick off 2016, we wanted to give our most loyal customers an opportunity to get a jump start on earning Plenti points in the new year,” John Learish, senior vice president of marketing at Rite Aid, said in a statement. “By participating in our 2016 Starting Points promotion, our customers will have the opportunity to earn thousands of Plenti points while shopping for everyday items. For every $30 spent, our shoppers will earn 1,000 Plenti points, worth at least $10 in savings for future purchases.”
