LINDEN, N.J. — PIC Pest Free Living has rolled out TWIST-IT and Bugables Mosquito Repellent Stickers, which provide a new level of convenience in protection against the summertime pests.

TWIST-IT is a flexible device that wraps around umbrellas, bike handles, strollers and other outdoor objects to repel mosquitoes for up to 200 hours, PIC said Tuesday in announcing the product, which it described as the first insect repellent with such a delivery system.
The product eliminates the need to apply repellent directly on the skin, the company noted. TWIST-IT can be wrapped around a variety of outdoor items to create a long-lasting, 10-foot radius of protection from insect-borne diseases and irritating bites.
Similarly, Bugables Mosquito Repellent Stickers adhere to hats, clothing, beach bags and other items to provide up to 200 hours of protection against mosquitoes. PIC said Bugables work by emitting an "aura" of natural, plant-based essential oils, masking human odors that attract insects. Bugables are designed with kids in mind and provide an option for parents who don’t want to spray their children with bug repellents containing DEET.
Both products are are laboratory-tested and made with all-natural and proven repellent ingredients, including essential oils, geraniol, lemongrass and citronella, according to PIC. TWIST-IT and Bugables also were recently certified by the national organization Parent Tested, Parent Approved.

TWIST-IT carries a suggested retail price of $5.99, and Bugables retail for $3.99. PIC products, including TWIST-IT and Bugables, are available at more than 10,000 retail outlets, including Walmart, Walgreens, Toys R Us and Bed Bath & Beyond.
