STERLING, Ill. — Men seeking advice on how to maintain and style their facial hair can get some answers through a new online resource from Wahl Trimmers.
The company said Thursday that it has partnered with facial hair experts Nick Burns and Allan Peterkin, authors of The Bearded Gentleman — The Styling Guide to Shaving Face, in launching several new components on its WAHLNation.com web site, including a Q&A, Encyclopedia of Styles and trend/style blogs.
"Wahl recognizes that men want easy-to-digest information about choosing and maintaining their facial hair," Wahl product expert Steve Yde said in a statement. "We know a lot of guys consider growing facial hair, but the uncertainty and anticipation causes some to go with a clean-shaven look instead. WAHLNation.com provides the platform to help guys feel comfortable asking questions about how to maintain their facial hair and seeking insight on what style is right for them."
Nearly 60% of men nationwide grow some style of facial hair throughout the year, and many want instructions on how to improve their style. Wahl said it wants to know those questions and is encouraging men to submit a question to its experts at WAHLNation.com/FacialHair/.
In addition, Wahl is introducing 15 classic styles in its growing Encyclopedia of Styles. Each style includes historical information on where the style originated, what the style may say about a guy and techniques for maintaining.
And to give up-to-date information on trends and styles, Wahl is providing the WAHLExperts and Gentleman blog penned by trend expert Nick Burns, product expert Steve Yde and master barber and stylist Ben Phillips.
