DEERFIELD, Ill. – Walgreens Specialty Pharmacy has achieved full accreditation from URAC for its Specialty Pharmacy Accreditation 5.0 program and additional accreditation from the Accreditation Commission for Health Care (ACHC) for select community-based Walgreens Specialty Pharmacy locations. These accreditations highlight Walgreens’ dedication to maintaining the highest patient care and safety standards.
URAC, a leading independent healthcare accrediting body, awarded Walgreens full accredited status in its Specialty Pharmacy, Version 5.0 Program. Meanwhile, ACHC, a globally recognized accrediting organization, granted additional Walgreens Specialty Pharmacy community locations the ACHC Specialty Pharmacy Accreditation.

The URAC accreditation is effective from February 1, 2025, to January 1, 2028, while the ACHC accreditation is valid from December 17, 2024, to June 28, 2027.
